What type of organizations can use eRegistrar? 
eRegistrar.ca is set up to meet the requirements of just about any organization... sports, business, community centre, charities basically anyone who needs "secure" online registration...

Is there a minimum number of registrations?
No.. the system is setup to allow you to take online registration which will allow your organization to grow. The estimated number of registrations and term of agreement are considered in the initial setup fee calculation.

Where is eRegistrar.ca?
eRegistrar.ca is based in Ontario, Canada and provides registration services Canada wide. We are however planning to set up operations in the United States and United Kingdom in the near future.

Can the system limit the number of registrations by group?
Yes, the system can be configured to cap the numbers of online registrations by age group, gender, geographic location etc.. This feature is useful when space is limited or when you want to limit the number registered online allowing those without Internet access a chance to register.

Can the system limit the number of registrations to a specific group?
Yes, many organizations may wish to restrict the registration to returning athletes/ registrants from previous events. The system accommodates this by providing an authentication process against data provided listing those who qualify.

Is there a way to automatically end the registration?
Every registration has a start and end date. Once the end date, determined by the customer, is reached the entry page to the system will change to provide details and instructions as required by the organization.

Will I be able to register all my children at once?
Yes, the system allows for multiple registrations. In fact you can even start the registration process and return at a later date to add more.

How does eRegistrar.ca secure customer information?
From the first moment your customer enters the registration process, they are in a secure online environment. Every transaction is performed utilizing Verisign 128-bit SSL Global Server ID.

What are VeriSign 128-bit SSL Global Server IDs?
128-bit SSL Global Server IDs are a form of Digital ID, the electronic counterpart to driver's licenses, passports, and business licenses. You can present a Digital ID electronically to prove your identity or your right to access information or services online. VeriSign 128-bit SSL Global Server IDs enables our site to conduct authenticated, strongly encrypted on-line commerce. Customers will be able to submit credit card numbers or other personal information to the site with the assurance that they are doing business with you and that the information which they are sending to you cannot be intercepted or decrypted by anyone else.

Technically, Digital IDs, also known as digital certificates, bind the identity of our organization to a pair of electronic keys that can be used to encrypt and sign digital information. A Digital ID makes it possible to verify someone's claim that they have the right to use a given key, helping to prevent people from using phony keys to impersonate other users. Used in conjunction with encryption, Digital IDs provide a complete security solution, assuring the identity of one or all parties involved in a transaction.

A Digital ID is issued by a trusted third party called a Certification Authority (CA) - in this case, VeriSign. Can an application form be "book-marked"?
No... each session is tagged with a unique ID for trace ability, and has a time limitation for refresh. If you bookmark a session and return at at a later date you will be returned to the initial page.

Can application form pages be indexed by search engines?
No, each time a customer enters your application environment, a session code is generated and will issue an error to any outside attempts to access or index.

What is the eRegistrar.ca "Privacy Policy"?
eRegistrar.ca have a strict privacy policy and we guarantee that no information gathered is used for any other use than those outlined in the agreement.

Can I access online database of registrations?
Yes, each customer has a unique database so that we can provide you with accurate registrant information. We will provide you with access to interim reports and the full database (Microsoft^® 2000 Access format) at the end of each registration period or on request.

Does anyone else have access to the database?
No... the database is for your use only, no information is transferred or sold to any third party organization.

We have an existing website...how do we add online registration?
No problem, we simply provide you with a link from your existing website to secure registration area with your sites theme.. As part of the set-up process, we take your logo, name, address, contact information etc. and setup the registration process on our secure server with all links back to your site.

What if we need a website?
eRegistrar.ca can provide web design, web hosting and web consulting services at preferred customer rates through our parent company www.rightfast.com

Are there any special needs?
No, the benefit of working with eRegistrar.ca is that we have taken care of all the special needs such as SSL, form handling, database management, full online support and site marketing programs.

How do we know when someone registers?
You need to provide us with the email address of your designated registration person. Once a registration has been confirmed, an email message is sent to the registrant and your designated address showing defined registration information (but never the credit card information)

Can a registrant pay by cheque or cash?
Depending on your requirements, we can set up the registration process so that the registrant fills the form(s) online and receives an acknowledgement via email that must be mailed in with cheque or brought to office with cheque or cash. We can also provide services to allow you to publish forms online in PDF format..

Will additional credit cards be accepted in the future?
As demand requires, we will add additional card services. With our experience to date, Visa and Mastercard meet the majority of requests.

Why is this one always at the end??... well in this case, we wanted to answer a bunch of your questions first.... and as every customer has different needs we need to evaluate your requirements before providing a price.

The price is based on combinations of the following criteria:
a) set-up requirements
b) the number of potential registrants
c) length of agreement....

We have programs with credit card collection and simple data collection and mail in with cheque options.... our goal is to provide your customers with the registration methods most suitable to your organization....

You have the choice of showing the online registration as a voluntary surcharge to the user or build it into your fees.... either way your customers will have the choice and you will be pleasantly surprised how economical the entire process can be.....
